Inuyasha was a half demon and a half human . one day , a priestess name kikyo was fall in love with inuyasha and it's also inuyasha first love . kikyo was the only one girl that inuyasha love the most . she was a beautiful and a great priestess . The Shikon Jewel was a power full jewel that help all of the demon get a full power . The shikon jewel has been arrived to the hand of priestess kikyo to protect . Kikyo has promise with inuyasha that she will give the shikon jewel for him to be a full human and live together . but A demon name Naraku has use the power turn himself act he's inuyasha to go and hit kikyo . kikyo think he's the real inuyasha she has been hurt too much . Naraku turn himself to be kikyo and going to hurt inuyasha that make inuyasha feel hate kikyo too much . Inuyasha going to steal the Shikon jewel short from the village and that was the reason why make kikyo think bad on him more and more. inuyasha feel now just wanted to be a full demon because he's think kikyo was aliar . ( A sacred arrow is an arrow that's use for high-level priestess ) Kikyo was using the Sacred Arrow hit inuysha. she has been get injured by demon naraku , she use the arrow to pinning inuyasha because she wanted to get the Shkion jewel back , when inuysha has get hurt on the tree by kikyo , she go and take the shikon jewel . She told her little sister name Kaede to take that jewel burn with her body , and lady kikyo has been death. Inuyasha has been pinning on the tree for 500years. 50 years later, a young teenager name Kagome  has been taken to the feudal era by the wheel with the demon . Inuysah was released from the tree with the arrow by kagome . The demon was went after kagome because she's has the Shikon jewel on the body . Kagome is the reincarnation of kikyo . kagome making trouble, she make the shikon jewel break and it's being a lot of shikon jewel shard on the body of the demon . When Inuyasha Transform to be a full demon or A full human he's have no control on his body, Kagome always standby inuyasha and help him to be a half demon back then again just like he is. Kikyo has been alive because of the old lady demon . Inuyasha always protect kagome , just so u know kagome also has a power of the priestess . The sacred arrow has been power full for one day to one day . once day . kikyo has been death again because naraku kill her. The sky became red because it's the blood of kikyo. Inuyasha was so hurt and he's send tears for her , everyone cried for her , and sadness . For along long time, kagome stayed with inuysha group that's has shippo ( Alittle fox demon ), Sango( the demon slayer ) miroku ( A power full monk with power full hand ), and alittle pet name Kirara( A strang animal that's can transform ). Kagome always stayed with inuysha until the demon name Naraku has been death because of the sacred arrow of kagome. She was pinning the Sacred Arrow to the jewel, It was the same time that the Shikon Jewel has been broken and disappeared for ever from the world.  From that day later kagome can't come back to the Feudal Era Again, The wheel won't work for her, The Shikon jewel made her to return to modern era that's make inuysha get more hurt and he's always waiting for her. form that's day she can't return back. 3years later , Kagome has been finish her study, the wheel is work and she turn back on the Feudal Era again, because her heart belong to inuyasha and she's always remember him. She came back to live with inuysha and became A Priestess of the village name KAGOME.

InuYasha (犬夜叉), also known as InuYasha, a Feudal Fairy Tale (, Sengoku Otogizōshi InuYasha), is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. It premiered in Weekly Shōnen Sunday on November 13, 1996 and concluded on June 18, 2008. The series follows Kagome Higurashi, a teenager from Tokyo, who is transported to the Sengoku period, where she meets the half demon, InuYasha. When a monster from that era tries to take the magical Jewel of Four Souls embodied in Kagome, she accidentally splits the Jewel into various shards, which are dispersed across Japan. Kagome and InuYasha start travelling to recover it, gaining allies and enemies throughout the journey. In contrast to her previous works, InuYasha is the first manga by Takahashi with a dark storyline, and thus used the setting of the Sengoku period to display easily the violent content.

The manga was published in North America by Viz Media with all of its 56 tankōbon volumes having already been released. The manga was adapted into two anime television series produced by Sunrise. The first, broadcast for 167 episodes on Yomiuri TV in Japan from October 16, 2000 until September 13, 2004, was directed by Masashi Ikeda for the first forty-four episodes and by Yasunao Aoki for the remainder. The second series, called InuYasha: The Final Act (犬夜叉 完結編, InuYasha Kanketsu-hen), began airing October 3, 2009 to cover the rest of the manga series and ended on March 29, 2010. Viz Media licensed the two anime series, having released the former in DVD volumes and aired most of its episodes. A total of four feature films and an original video animation have also been released.
